Thank you for the kind words. I have a blast making these videos 🙂
I think you are amazing. I’m in my early 30s and I love to watch the younger girls too. They really are talented. I’ve gone paraben free and I love to watch you show products to give me ideas not just for ideas now but also because one of my goals is to age gracefully and I believe you are accomplishing this. The women in my family have not been so successful. Thank you for your videos. Please keep it up!
Yep, some of us are makeup girls, and some not… I certainly wouldn’t bother with makeup if I didn’t enjoy it, but it’s soooooo much fun!!!!
You are so cute I wish my mom would wear any eyeshadow at all… Thanks for the tip I bought that too cool but I never use it since it is too white but now I will as a primer.
Yea, I have those Color Tattoos in every color. Like ’em all, but wish they were cruelty-free….
You go, girl!
Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment! I appreciate it…and the compliment 🙂
You are such a cool professor!
Cheers! We’ll enjoy our colors! I’ve gotten in a lot of gorgeous shades from various Halloween collections, so I’m having a lot of fun with color at the moment 🙂
i’m 60 hon, and I still wear color. F0rtunately they tell me I look early 40’s, so that’s all good. But I love color and there are no rules that I know of. Go for it! Mix and blend.
I’m having fun this week with Halloween collections, ignoring all the advice about what one should and shouldn’t wear in her 50s. Not exactly Evil Knievel but…
Holy Crap Batman!! Now we know who the daredevil is!!
Concealers are a hard category b/c it depends on your age & issues (dry, oily, puffy, dark, etc.) The best I found for conditioning the eye was Tarte’s The Eraser, which they no longer make. Their newer concealers contain phenoxyethanol, which is arguably as bad as parabens (some say better, some say worse). For all natural (not green-washed “natural”), you can try Vapour Organic Beauty. I like to set concealer with Fusion of Color Lite Yellow correcting pigment, mixed w/ fair foundation.
Wow, I was looking for review videos on the Maybelline pots and so glad to have come across this. Didn’t realise the paraben-free notes until I read the description, which is amazing because I had begun to give up on cosmetics being paraben-free!
Have you come across many good paraben-free concealers?
Welcome! And thank you for the very kind words and for subbing! Can’t wait to read more of your comments…
oh my gosh, you’re STUNNING and I loveeeeee tthis look! I’m subscribing 🙂
Ah, thank you for the compliments! You’ve reminded me that I need to pull out some jewelry again. I’m at the beach & forget to wear it. When I get back to work & start pulling it out again, it will all seem new 🙂
Love your hair color, love your jewlery, love the makeup!
Thank you, sweetie. You’ve got a lot of wonderful decades ahead of you. Enjoy them all–fully!
You have honestly aged really well! I’m 14 and I thought you were literally like 45 at the most.
Sorry I didn’t respond! Somehow just saw this. . . The nail color was a little pastel green Sally Girl in a teeny tiny bottle, with teeny tiny writing, so I can’t read the shade 🙂
Thank you. Re: aging. I don’t know that “struggle” is quite the word I’d use. Some of the products & techniques that work for me work (or not) because I’m in my 50s, I have really dry skin, & I’m very pale. These same techniques wouldn’t necessarily work if I were younger (or older), had oily skin, or some more color in my skin. So yea, those are the 3 things I repeat: age, dry skin, really pale 🙂 Hmm, I could add deep-set eyes. All challenges! Thank you so much for your comments 🙂
Goodness… you look lovely. Such a lovely twinkle to your beautifully deep set eyes.
I notice you mention your age a lot, do you struggle with aging?
Beautiful colours on the eyes too
I love that nail polish colour on you – what one is it?
What a sweet thing to say! It helps that I love to play in my makeup drawer 🙂
I wish there were more people at your age to be as willing as you are to go outside of their comfort zone and try these colors…because you look beautiful and great for your age and these colors work for you. Now I think I have to go buy some color tattoos and check out my nearest BE!
