Ok, nice work, but I might be mistaken, but is that hair that was NOT
shaved off for the process at 8:45 on the client’s back ?? Or is it just
the blur of the camera ?? Still decent enough work for sure. For the
Haters…get some skills and do better.

For the ppl talking shit.. should watch it first 🙂 he clearly says he
feels like he just “squeezing by” and he feels like hes the last in his
group to get it.. super humble. And from the art i can easy say he is
slightly above the standard. Not by any means in the class of filip lue..
and also they say he went towards japanese style. His friend calls it a
refined take in japanese style. Its a dude drawing japanese subjectmatter
thats it. Soo stop hating and just see it as a nice documentey one of few
about tattoo. Soo thanks vice. The mike rubendhall was rwal good. Pz

When i was in japan i saw alot of western styled tattoos o the younger
crowd.. i lived in asian for 12 years and love asian art soo if im
originaly from europe dont mean its worng to wanna cover the body with an
asian saga.. and about the yakuzaa its not at all like that anymore all
sorts of ppl in japan have tebori.. and the yakuzaa of today normally dont
like to wear them cuz of the orange hat 🙂 remember u see a guy with a
tattoo and u are being judgemental sayin hes not japaneese.. well maybe my
kid is? My best friend.. maybe even that white guy has a tied to yakuzaa.
The point is u know nothing of that persons background and still wanna
judge if he has the right to wear it.. that sone real stupid internet geek
thing. Never had anyone japaneese or not told me that in my face.. guess
its fron all they scary tattoos cover my body like an tshirt and shorts
tellin them better not say that :)

By “Traditional Japanese Tattoeing” I thought it was talking about the
traditional way that was just by hand with a needle, not with a machine, or
    tattoes like tebori.

I never had a actural tattooer I really enjoyed. But after watching this
video im a huge fan of his work now. By far my favorite. Great work.
Amazing artist. Talks about tattooing how its supposed to be instead of
talking about nonsense that has nothing to do with tattooing.

  • cow5116 4 years ago

    is that you KEVIN LOVE?!

  • Most of these tattoos dont belong to Yakuza, but most of these tatts have
stories to them in the yakuza world…. they wont harm anyone thats
considered an “outsider” though so the movies you guys watch, you need to
    lay off of them.

    too many male buttocks!

  • He’s brilliant in an attractive way. I don’t know. Something about him just
gives of a calm and caring vibe.

  • frogstrips 4 years ago

The nitpicking here is ridiculous. Nobody here should have anything
negative to say about this guy or his art he’s an all around class act and
is one of the best at what he does. Top 10 in no particular order Chris
O’Donnell, Mike Rubendall,Chris Garver, Troy Denning, Forest Cavaco, Mike
Ledger, Timothy Hoyer, Eddy Deutsche, Tim Lehi and Marcus Kuhn.

As another said. Asian is very broad and vague. Tattooing is of east Asian
decent however it developed independently in other locations as well. I
would not get any of the tattoos like that because to me they are
meaningless. I have one of the USMC isignia on my chest over my left side.
